m2010 civilian equivalent

M2010 Civilian Equivalent - Remington Defense has several products coming to the consumer market soon, including the long-range modular sniper rifle shown above.

Remington's defense has always been a joke. Many photographers couldn't even come close to the glossy photography available on the web for many of his posts.

It was not a matter of distributing the products produced by Big Green, the daily guns faced by the tough city because of the Federal laws. Instead, the company has never released those guns to the civilian market, making them difficult to purchase.

Adding some of these weapons to the safe will be very easy, but not cheap. The company recently announced that it will be making select items from its catalog available on the commercial market.

The New York/Alabama-based company did not specify when these guns will arrive in local gun stores. But it has released its first line of products for the civilian market, consisting of two carbines and two bolt-action sniper rifles.

The R4 RGP (Remington Gas Piston) Carbine and R4 Enhanced Carbine are sure to appeal to many shooters. But the MSR and M2010 could be more interesting.

Both gun systems have been approved by the US military and each has designs and features that will make the hearts of long-range shooters flutter.

The MSR, or Modular Precision Rifle, is a multi-purpose platform introduced in 2009. Called the Mk21 Precision Sniper Rifle in the military, it won the Joint Special Operations Command's Precision Sniper Rifle program and was awarded a military contract in 2013 .

M2010 (known in the service as XM2010) replaces the venerable M24 rifle of the US Army and entered service in 2011. But it differs from the old platform in one important way - caliber. The new bolt-action rifle added access to the M24 chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester, firing the .300 Winchester Magnum instead.

In 2019, the US Special Operations Command awarded a $50,000,000 contract to Barrett Manufacturing, which ordered the Barrett MRAD for the Advanced Sniper Rifle (ASR) project as the Mk 21 ASR sniper rifle.

If the winner of the PSR competition, the Remington MSR, was given the designation "MK21", wouldn't the ASR (Barrett MRAD) be given another designation such as the Mk21 Mod1 or Mk22 (as indicated on the receiver )?

Is there a precedent for US gun purchases for two different platforms in different programs to have exactly the same name?

So I bought one of the last Remington MSRs that I understood (and was told) that anyone across the country had. Remington stopped production of the MK21 immediately after losing the SOCCOM PSR contract. I say I lost, and this was a case of "I give up." What...

What Steps Do You Have To Take In Order To Own An Aa12 Shotgun?

My understanding is that the person assigned to the Mk21 was transferred before the "official" contract expired, and then assigned to the Mk22. It's frustrating because it's often not done.

After about 300 rounds I can officially say that the Mk21 is a better gun (after all that was said in the thread above). I don't have enough times to call MRAD, but a lot of people like them. The one I shot looked smooth.

Oh, I haven't heard... I know it wasn't in 2013, but the last time I heard it won was earlier this year.

MRAD costs 6K, you buy a 2 barrel kit for 3K. So 9K buys you a lot of gear, the case, magnets and accessories cost 7K?

Yeah, the kit is really cool, I'd love to get a case with a tray for it.

Army Picks Heckler & Koch Sniper Rifle To Replace M110

You also get M-LOK on the rail of the MK22 instead of the secondary loading rail on the civilian MRAD. A 4-inch rail available on Barrett's website is $80. Looking at the picture, it looks like it comes with 2 in the set. I estimate that you need 9 to 4 train pieces to fill the entire track. So it costs $400.

Is there a commercial version of it that doesn't include all the other characters and tools?

Can you just buy the MRAD, say the 300 Norma with the same color rail
